Class 1 Specialty Dielectrics

N2200 (R3L) dielectrics are the popular specialty formulations of the “temperature-compensating,” EIA Class I ceramic materials with enhanced dielectric constant. Contrary to Class II dielectrics, N2200 (R3L) offer a negative linear change of the capacitance with temperature, 2200 ±300ppm/°C from -55°C to +125°C, low dielectric losses and much smaller dependence on frequency and electric field. N2200 (R3L) compositions are an excellent choice for demanding MLCC applications where low loss and improved voltage response are required.
